A perfect example of a rural installation on a large property utilising
the Kyocera "My Gen" 6000w system sold by Sales & Development
Manager David Sapier from Absorbed Power Solar and installed
by a BCSE accredited designer in September 2007.
It consisted of 30 x 200 watt polycrystalline solar panels and was
fastened to an ideal 30 degree sloping roof using Kyoceras aluminium
Unirac framing. The large system was controlled by a SMA
6000 watt inverter and the power generated (approximately 25 KW a
day) was exported directly
into the grid. This provided large savings on clients electricity bills due to the
substantial sizing of system and was an ideal location for this alternate
clean energy source.
